Jesse Alunan

Executive Director
Chair of Business Department

Jesse Alunan is an educator and business leader with over 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategic management across multiple industries, including insurance (aviation specialty), real estate, mortgage, and telecommunications.

He currently serves as an adjunct professor teaching undergraduate and graduate business courses, with a specialty in entrepreneurship, marketing, and strategic management. As the founder of multiple business ventures, he brings a practical, real-world perspective to education.

His work is centered on bridging the gap between theory and practice, with a strong belief that education should translate into real-world application. This philosophy guides his approach to teaching, leadership, and program development at AIBA.

Jesse is currently pursuing a PhD in Business, with research focused on strategic entrepreneurship and community driven economic development. His leadership reflects a commitment to preparing students for meaningful, career ready outcomes.

Arvin Eslit

Chief Financial Officer
Chair of FLIGHT OPERATIONS Department

Arvin Eslit is an experienced aviation professional, United States Air Force veteran, and FAA-certified Airline Transport Pilot with over 11,000 flight hours and extensive experience in domestic and international flight operations.

He holds Certified Flight Instructor and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument qualifications, reflecting his expertise in pilot training and aviation instruction. His experience bridges the gap between theory and practice, supporting his commitment to developing skilled, safety-focused aviation professionals.

Arvin has served as Pilot-in-Command in both Part 91 and Part 135 environments, supporting corporate, private, and international aviation operations. His experience includes oceanic navigation, international flight planning, and managing complex aviation environments requiring the highest standards of safety and precision.

In addition to his aviation career, Arvin holds a degree in Business Administration, bringing both operational and strategic insight into aviation program development. At AIBA, he leads the aviation department with a focus on safety, industry alignment, and real-world training.

Hermon Yu

Chief Administrative Officer
Chair of TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT

Hermon Yu is an aviation professional with more than 25 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning, technical operations, and regulatory compliance across domestic and international aviation environments.

He has held key roles with major aviation organizations, including JetBlue Airways and DHL Aviation, where he managed maintenance planning systems, coordinated large-scale maintenance programs, and supported aircraft operational readiness. His experience bridges the gap between technical knowledge and real-world application, ensuring alignment with industry standards and safety requirements.

Hermon holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and brings deep technical expertise and operational insight to AIBA. He leads the development of the Airframe and Powerplant program, focusing on hands-on training, safety standards, and workforce readiness.
